Job Title

A talented Data Engineer and Business Intelligence specialist is sought after to support enterprise data initiatives. This role combines hands-on data engineering, ETL development with business intelligence and reporting delivery.

The ideal candidate will be technically proficient in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI capable of building scalable data pipelines while developing high-quality dashboards and reports that enable better decision-making.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets.
  • Implement data models tailored for reporting ensuring reports and dashboards follow governance, security, and performance best practices.
  • Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and semantic layers.
  • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts.
  • Work with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Support integration of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.
  • Work closely with onsite leads, data architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide status updates, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure alignment with enterprise BI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with offshore team members to maintain consistent coding standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of reporting workflows.

Requirements:

6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering & Business Intelligence. Strong hands-on skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service). Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS (ETL development). Knowledge of data modeling principles (dimensional, normalized, denormalized).
