From concept to production, we partner with global OEMs to manufacture exterior and interior vehicle and railway components. Our strength lies in creativity, technical precision, and cost-effective production to consistently meet the highest customer expectations.

We are expanding our engineering capabilities in India and are seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer with extensive SolidWorks expertise to develop thermoformed interior components for the railway industry.

This senior-level role requires not just CAD skills but deep engineering understanding, strong customer communication, and the ability to deliver manufacturable, cost-optimized solutions while minimizing changes to tooling.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in CAD design for thermoformed plastic components.
  • SolidWorks expert level (surface modeling, assemblies, tool-related adjustments).
  • Strong background in railway, automotive, or transportation interiors.
  • Knowledge of plastics material properties, tooling, and production processes.
  • Ability to translate conceptual sketches into manufacturable designs.
  • Strong communication skills for customer interaction and engineering discussions.
  • Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style.
  • German language skills are a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop interior thermoformed panels for trains using SolidWorks.
  2. Translate customer rough concepts and specifications into production-ready 3D and 2D designs.
  3. Adapt panel designs to changing project requirements while ensuring minimal tool modifications.
  4. Engineer the rear side construction of panels, including reinforcements, ventilation solutions, and mounting details.
  5. Work in direct exchange with European clients to align technical feasibility, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.
  6. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
