Cloud Infrastructure Optimization Role

About the Job:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Optimization professional, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure to ensure it meets business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure
  • Development and enhancement of continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines
  • Implementation and management of automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment
  • Establishment and management of comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Collaboration with software development and IT teams to design and deploy robust solutions
  • Implementation and enforcement of security best practices across the development and deployment processes
  • Technical leadership and mentorship of junior developers
  • Participation in on-call issues, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues
  • Participation in recruitment and onboarding of new engineers

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Good understanding of networking, security, and database administration
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
