Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior QA Automation Engineer.

  • The ideal candidate will design and develop robust automated test suites using modern frameworks like Playwright, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
  • Build reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing, utilizing skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience writing test scripts for browser automation.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for both manual and automated testing efforts, leveraging knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience using Postman, Swagger, or similar for API testing.
  • Conduct performance, regression, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality across platforms, utilizing tools like JIRA for defect tracking and collaboration with engineering teams.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of software testing experience, with at least 3 years in test automation using Playwright or equivalent frameworks.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, including experience writing test scripts for browser automation and working with version control systems like Git and collaborative workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI, and solid Agile/Scrum knowledge and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document defects effectively.
