Job Title: Stylist for Unisex Salon

We are seeking a skilled and experienced stylist to join our team at a prestigious unisex salon in Dibrugarh, Assam. As a stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating stunning hairstyles for our clients.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for hairdressing and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and use your skills and expertise to create personalized looks that exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

2. Execute specialized hairstyles for special events such as weddings, engagements, and other occasions.">
3. To discuss and understand clients' requirements before performing the service.">
4. To give advice on the desired look after assessing the time and effort a client is willing to invest in order to maintain a specific look.">
5. To adhere to and propagate the procedures defined as per the SOP.">
6. To provide shampooing and conditioning services to clients.">
7. To discretely use and sanitize hair tools as approved by Category Head-Hair or Beauty Department.">
8. To provide services such as coloring, bleaching, conditioning, permanent waving, straightening, and tinting.">
9. To dry and style hair using brushes, combs, rollers, and other equipment.">
10. To shave and trim beards and moustaches for male clients.">
11. To guide the client adequately on how to manage and maintain the new look after styling of hair.">
12. To be able to recommend VLCC Personal Care products for regular use.">
13. To be able to recommend clients to beauty experts for hair and scalp problems.">
14. To execute detailed hairstyles for special occasions such as engagement, marriage, stage event, etc.">
15. To regularly disinfect combs and rollers and other tools after every session.">
16. In coordination with other Hair Stylists, to handle instruments and equipment carefully and judiciously.">
17. To ensure general upkeep and cleanliness of the work area.">
18. To be responsible to pass on any lost and found items immediately to the Centre Head.">
19. To percolate Training inputs and information on new trends to other hair stylists as and when instructed by the Beauty Head.">
20. To prepare and maintain all necessary reports and paperwork and documentation on a regular basis.">
21. To attend all staff and training meetings as and when directed by the Center Head.">
22. To ensure that all duties are carried out in line with VLCC policies maintaining high standards of personal appearance and personal hygiene and appropriate uniform.">
23. Under the supervision of the Beauty Head, to plan and execute events at the centre by developing and implementing appropriate strategies - Selecting, segmenting and targeting markets and promoting products and services to niche clients.">
24. To make a constant effort to update one's knowledge on products and services being offered by company and competitors in order to handle sales objections with regard to pricing and packaging.">
25. To constantly upgrade oneself and multitask so as to achieve the progression level as per the multitasking up-gradation planner.">

Requirements:

• A strong passion for hairdressing and a keen eye for detail.">
• A minimum of 2-6 years of experience in the same industry.">
• Hands-on-experience or apprenticeship training in hairdressing.">
• Diploma in Hairdressing.">
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.">
• Basic knowledge of hair care products and treatments.">
