Job Overview

The Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data across the aviation business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain complex data models to support analytics and operations.
  • Manage metadata and data catalog tools to ensure discoverability and lineage tracking.
  • Deliver scalable and secure data products on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Apply foundational data transformation techniques using SQL and Python to prepare data for consumption.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data management and governance.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with complex data modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in metadata management and data cataloguing tools.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Domain Expertise (Mandatory):

  • SAP ERP and MDG: Applied experience with core systems, particularly in master data governance and enterprise resource planning.
  • Aviation business knowledge: Ability to contextualize data within the aviation business landscape to drive insights and innovation.
