Senior Software Engineering Manager

 

The Senior Software Engineering Manager is a pivotal role that oversees the development and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to drive the success of our engineering teams.

 

Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced software engineers and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to software engineers on technology stack, architecture, and design principles.
  • Overseeing project timelines, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Developing long-term strategies for the engineering team to align with company objectives and goals.
  • Allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with product managers to define the product roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Overseeing the development of new features from concept through implementation, ensuring seamless integration of new functionalities.
  • Implementing best practices for code quality assurance, including automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in software development, with a significant portion of that time spent in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing and leading software engineering teams, with expertise in designing scalable and high-performance architectures.
  • Extensive experience with .NET framework, C# for backend development, and solid knowledge of data pipeline technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile methodologies.
