Job Title: FPGA Engineer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our team as an FPGA Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field.

The intern will work closely with our founding engineers to develop and maintain critical components of our Virtual FPGA technology. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to gain hands-on experience in developing sophisticated, high-performance networking and cybersecurity applications.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of FPGA system development, particularly with AMD/Xilinx FPGAs. You should also be proficient in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog, and have strong programming skills in C/C++. Additionally, you will need to have a background in software/hardware development in a Linux environment and Git for version control.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain critical components of our Virtual FPGA technology
  • Architect and implement high-performance cybersecurity applications
  • Collaborate on system design, performance analysis, and integration in a constantly evolving codebase
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience in FPGA system development, particularly with AMD/Xilinx FPGAs
  • Proficiency in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++
  • Background in software/hardware development in a Linux environment and Git for version control
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience with AMD/Xilinx Versal devices
  • Experience with Dynamic Function eXchange (DFX)
