Residential Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee our hostel operations team, manage external vendors, and serve as the primary point of contact for student and parent concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive hostel operations strategy, ensuring seamless move-ins, daily services, and escalations.
  • Team Management: Lead a dynamic team of hostel managers, support staff, and vendor coordinators to achieve excellent student-focused operations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Programme Director and Parent Affairs Team to align hostel policies with institutional objectives.
  • Student Support: Act as the primary escalation point for student and parent concerns related to residential life, providing proactive and transparent communication.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee all third-party vendors and partners involved in housekeeping, security, food, and maintenance.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve SOPs, incident reports, safety checks, and compliance protocols to maintain high standards.
  • Culture Development: Champion a positive residential culture that is inclusive, respectful, and aligned with student well-being.
  • Performance Monitoring: Present regular reports on hostel performance, grievances, service levels, and student satisfaction, using data-driven insights to improve processes and policies.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain proper documentation and ensure regulatory compliance related to hostel facilities.
