As a Data Science intern, you will contribute to cutting-edge projects involving financial data analysis, investment research and risk modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough data cleaning, wrangling and pre-processing for financial datasets.
  • Collaborate with investment teams in equity research, fixed income research, portfolio management and economic analysis.
  • Apply statistical techniques to resolve complex financial problems such as credit risk modelling, probability of default and value-at-risk estimation.
  • Work with big data sources including financial reports, macroeconomic datasets and alternative investment data.
  • Utilize Python, Excel or R to analyze, visualize and model financial data effectively.
  • Participate in research projects related to quantitative trading, financial derivatives and portfolio optimization.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to self-learn and upskill even without prior coding skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

Internship Terms:

  • Duration: Flexible options available (1 month - 6 months).
  • Timing: Self-paced.
