Job Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Customs Trade Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing HTS and ECCN classification determinations for spare parts and other products for import and export.

The successful candidate will assist in compliance data collection and record keeping, support compliance training and audit activities, generate and analyze compliance reports, participate in root cause analysis of international trade issues, recommend solutions to help implement corrective actions, and support customs inquiries related to classifications of products.

About the Role:

  • Customs Trade HTS & ECCN Classification Determination
  • Compliance Data Collection and Record Keeping
  • Supporting Compliance Training and Audit Activities
  • Generating and Analyzing Compliance Reports
  • Participating in Root Cause Analysis of International Trade Issues
  • Providing Solutions to Implement Corrective Actions
  • Assisting with Customs Inquiries Related to Classifications
  • Ongoing Projects as Assigned by Trade Management

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced technology and processes involved in Semiconductor, Flat Panel, and Solar cell manufacturing
  • Understanding of import and/or export trade compliance elements
  • Able to conduct classification analysis using various trade tools
