Cloud Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled cloud engineer to lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable infrastructure with a focus on resiliency and flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud engineering, Azure IaaS/PaaS, scripting languages, configuration management, and cloud security concepts.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement enterprise technology standards and personas for global use
  • Collaborate on best practices and governance for evolving cloud-based infrastructure
  • Perform hands-on activities involved in creating cloud infrastructure components, migrating from or integrating with on-premises services, and developing self-service tooling and metrics
  • Research and implement best practices derived from industry experiences and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and disseminate strategy and progress against delivery goals

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working in an engineering role using service and hosting solutions
  • Azure, AWS, or GCP experience
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other tools
  • Configuration Management experience using Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible
  • Experience in cloud security concepts, scripting languages, designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies with a focus on Kubernetes
