About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager - US Tax. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with US tax compliance, advisory, and planning services for clients. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure compliance with US tax regulations, manage tax returns, and support clients with tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • US Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and review of various US tax forms, including Form 1065, Form 1120, Form 1041, and Form 1040, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
  • Tax Planning & Advisory: Support the senior team members in providing US tax planning and advisory services to clients, helping them navigate complex US tax laws.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct research on US tax laws, regulations, and guidelines, staying updated with changes to ensure compliance.
  • Client Support: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide tax insights, and address any queries related to US tax filings.
  • Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with team members to manage projects, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Internal Review: Review tax filings and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission to clients or tax authorities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in US taxation, including compliance and advisory services
  • Proficiency in US tax regulations and familiarity with tax preparation software
  • Analytical skills with ability to handle complex tax calculations and issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to review and prepare complex tax forms and reports
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines efficiently
