Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Integration Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished EDI integration professional to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless data exchange across our operations. As a seasoned expert in EDIFECS and FACETS systems, you will design and implement EDIFECS workflows, integrate EDI solutions with FACETS modules, and provide technical support for EDI interface development, partner onboarding, and transaction monitoring.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Manage EDIFECS Workflows: Utilize expertise in SpecBuilder, TPF, XEngine, and Route Manager to ensure efficient workflow management.
  • Build and Validate HIPAA-Compliant Transactions: Develop and validate HIPAA-compliant X12 transactions (834, 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277) to meet industry standards.
  • Integrate EDI Solutions with FACETS Modules: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EDI solutions with FACETS core modules (Claims, Enrollment, Billing, Provider).
  • Support Agile Delivery Processes: Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to Agile delivery processes to ensure successful project outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare EDI and integration.
  • Expertise in EDIFECS (SpecBuilder, XEngine, Route Manager, TPF), X12 transactions (834, 837, 835, etc.), and FACETS core modules.
  • Intermediate SQL skills and strong troubleshooting and payer workflow knowledge.
  • Familiarity with data formats: Flat files, XML, JSON, X12.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Mirth, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rules.
  • Exposure to FACETS APIs and Web Services.
  • Familiarity with Agile, HIPAA, and SOC 2 frameworks.
