About the Job:

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Lead to join our Quality Engineering team at ValueMomentum's Engineering Center. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for defining testing strategies, frameworks, and architecture with a focus on test automation using various tools or technologies.

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the test automation lifecycle, leveraging cutting-edge technical solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to work effectively with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand project requirements, prepare the automation test strategy/approach, design automation scripts, and create the execution plan.
  • Prepare automation test strategy/approach, prepare automation script design & execution plan, perform functional automation, in-sprint automation, end-to-end automation, and regression automation testing activities.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain the automation framework with hands-on experience on other automation frameworks & tools.
  • Follow expected standards and automate UI/API scripts with Selenium automation using C# automation framework.
  • Perform automation script failure analysis, identify the root cause, fix automation scripts, and re-execute the same.
  • Automate smoke test cases, functional test cases, end-to-end test cases, regression test cases, and add them in CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 8+ knowledge on C# Selenium concepts.
  • Peer-review automation scripts and share feedback to the team.
  • Understanding of design patterns is required.
  • Good knowledge of Scrum, GitHub, Bitbucket.
  • Hands-on Web and API testing and automation experience using BDD Spec flow/Cucumber framework, Selenium, C#, Postman, and REST.
  • Strong hands-on experience or knowledge on API test automation, Forms & Rate automation.
  • Achieve expected first-time pass % for end-to-end and regression automation.
  • Have good work experience in test management tools – JIRA, ADO.
  • Experience in enhancing existing automation framework to support new capabilities.
  • Track all automation metrics and publish it to internal & client leadership team.
  • Bring in automation best practices & tools/accelerators based on the landscape.
  • Provide guidance & train other team members in new automation skills.
  • Attend all Scrum ceremonies and provide updates on Automation to client stakeholders.
  • P&C Insurance domain knowledge / work experience is must.
  • Experience in PAS System, Rating, and related tools & framework.
  • Excellent in communication skills – verbal & written and presentation skills.

Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year
