Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to lead our Purchase Request preparation and Purchase Order management team. This key role will ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of service delivery for our clients.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires a results-driven individual with a strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming procurement requisitions, clarifying missing information, and converting validated requisitions into purchase orders.

You will also track open orders, ensure timely order acknowledgments and delivery confirmations from suppliers, and follow up with vendors to resolve delivery delays or issues.

  • Review procurement requisitions for completeness and compliance with client policies.
  • Clarify and resolve missing or unclear information with requestors.
  • Convert validated requisitions into purchase orders using our ERP system.
  • Ensure all required data fields are accurately populated.
  • Track open orders and ensure timely order acknowledgments and delivery confirmations from suppliers.
  • Follow up with vendors to resolve delivery delays or issues.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in any field and good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant years of experience in procurement operations.
  • A strong understanding of PR and PO lifecycle processes and procurement best practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
