Job Overview

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend applications and services using Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing database schemas, writing optimized queries, and managing data interactions with various SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Building and maintaining robust RESTful APIs to support various front-end applications and external integrations.
  • Developing clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to industry best practices, coding standards, and design principles.
  • Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of professional experience in backend software development using Python.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and common design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major Python web framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI, Pyramid) for building web applications or APIs.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
