Senior Azure SQL Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled database developer with expertise in cloud-based data solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in T-SQL development along with hands-on experience in building and optimizing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF). This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data solutions to support business operations and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Development: Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support data processing and reporting.
  • Pipeline Design: Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Database Administration: Perform data modelling, database design, and query performance tuning.
  • Workflow Management: Manage data workflows between on-premise systems and Azure cloud platforms.

Required Skills:

  • T-SQL Expertise: Strong experience in SQL Server development, including indexing and query optimization.
  • ETL/ELT Knowledge: Hands-on experience with SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building data pipelines.
  • Relational Database Concepts: Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data quality, and error handling.

Nice to Have:

  • Azure Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience Requirement: Minimum 5+ years of experience in the software industry.
  • Educational Background: B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT, or related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
