Academic Mentor - Sales - Education

As an Academic Mentor in Sales and Education, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring students have a seamless academic experience from admission to exit. Your primary objective is to ensure high student satisfaction and re-registrations across semesters.

  • To be the first point of contact for students and act as an interface between them and university departments.
  • Track and communicate students' academic progress, submission requirements, and status in accordance with the university session calendar.
  • Handle both academic and administrative queries related to fee payment, LMS, and student inquiries via calls, emails, and chat.

You will facilitate in addressing students' semester-subject-related queries, nurture students in completing their academic requirements on time, and make outbound calls to update students on their course progress as deemed by the university calendar.

Key responsibilities include achieving high student satisfaction by providing personalized and elaborate replies based on student queries, increasing active learners, and reducing repeat queries, complaints, and meeting quality measures.

Additionally, you will create and follow processes, recommend process improvements, identify and escalate priority issues, coordinate with various teams, and ensure timely responses to students.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-Graduation from a recognized University in Management or Commerce or Journalism or Computer Applications.
  • Experience in academics and student counselling.
  • Good knowledge of university academic processes.
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and CRM.
  • Verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Problem analysis and solving skills.
  • Stress tolerance and attention to detail.
