Position Summary:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Guidewire Policy Center Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible for the configuration, development, and maintenance of the Guidewire Policy Center application.

Daily tasks include analyzing business requirements, creating and implementing technical solutions, conducting unit tests, and collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless integration with other systems. This role requires close communication with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Experience with Guidewire Policy Center configuration and development is essential.
  • Strong understanding of PL/SQL and data modeling is required.
  • Knowledge of Java, GOSU scripting, and XML is preferred.
  • Experience in carrying out unit tests and debugging is necessary.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions is crucial.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are expected.
  • Familiarity with insurance domain practices and principles is beneficial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is vital.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is mandatory.
  • Prior experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
