Pastry Specialist

This role is responsible for creating a wide range of pastry and dessert items according to established recipes and presentation guidelines. The Pastry Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, following the high standards of quality and safety.

• Preparation of pastries and desserts according to provided recipes and photos.
• Maintenance of cleanliness and organization within the pastry galley.
• Setup and replenishment of pastry displays on buffets as needed.
• Transportation of food items from main stores to the pastry galley.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of working areas and utensils.
• Participation in early standby rotations for USPH purposes.
• Support for guests and crew members with inquiries.
• Attendance at meetings, training activities, and courses as required.

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Pastry Cook in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and food safety protocols.
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency requirement.
