EDI Solutions Expert

The EDI Solutions Expert will play a crucial role in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI solutions to support seamless electronic data interchange with business partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain EDI solutions: Utilize IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and File Gateway to ensure efficient electronic data interchange.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Integrate EDI with Order Management Systems (OMS) for seamless order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment.
  • Manage EDI mapping and communication processes: Ensure accurate translation and communication with trading partners.
  • Work with customers and external partners: Onboard, test, and maintain EDI connections to facilitate smooth business operations.
  • Monitor and resolve EDI-related issues: Troubleshoot transmission errors, mapping discrepancies, and communication failures to minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or IBM Sterling File Gateway.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Hands-on experience: Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and their integration with EDI processes.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of EDI mapping, document translation, and communication protocols. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex EDI issues across multiple platforms.
  • Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
