Job Overview:

Leading an Assurance team is a high-level role that requires significant experience and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in general accounting and financial statement review.

About the Role:

  • Oversee and execute financial statement audits, guiding assigned staff in their tasks, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
  • Responsible for planning, risk assessments, testing, and completion of engagements.
  • Act as in charge of medium and complex engagement.
  • Mentor, train and supervise junior level staff on technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines.
  2. Communicate with Senior Manager/Directors on work status and client issues that arise.
  3. Maintain Client Relationship by focusing on quality and service excellence.
  4. Ensure proper documentation and review of engagements.
  5. Design audit approaches, supervise audit teams.
  6. Attend mandatory technical training sessions.
  7. Prepare and review final reports.

Requirements:

  • Inter-CA/ACCA/CPA/CA with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and International standards of Auditing (ISA).
  • Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments and manage ambiguity.
