Role Summary

As a highly skilled Data Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of Large Language Models (LLMs).

Our team is seeking an experienced professional to design and build scalable, fault-tolerant data infrastructure that supports distributed computing and data orchestration for LLM research.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with complex, multi-modal data and contribute to the advancement of AI technology.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-throughput systems for data ingestion, processing, and transformation to support LLM model development.
  • Collaborate with researchers to deliver critical data assets for model development and evaluation.
  • Develop synthetic datasets using state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting to support platform reliability and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to industry compliance standards by building systems for traceability, reproducibility, and robust quality control.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data infrastructure, preferably supporting high-scale applications or research platforms.
  • Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructure, data storage architectures, batch + streaming pipelines, and specialized hardware (GPUs, TPUs) computing and GPU cluster.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, storage systems, and how architecture choices impact performance at scale.
  • Familiarity with microservices architectures, containerization and orchestration, synchronous and asynchronous processing, performance optimization, and memory management in high-volume data systems.
  • Experience with documentation, automation, testing, and empowering teammates with good tooling.
