Electoral Analyst

We are seeking an Electoral Analyst to join our political intelligence team in Andhra Pradesh.

  • Closely follow key political and socio-economic developments in assigned regions, as well as a broad view of state and national politics.
  • Conduct primary research through phone calls, focus groups, interviews, and investigative methods to understand social and political landscapes.
  • Use secondary research methods to draw up detailed reports and insights on states and constituencies, conveying past and current political scenarios and developments.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Andhra Pradesh's political landscape, fluency in Telugu, and the ability to engage with local stakeholders, including influencers and politicians.

Necessary Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and above in any field.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and apply themselves.
  • Strong data analysis, logical reasoning, and reading comprehension skills.
  • Structured thinking and ability to logically structure documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of politics and India's democracy.
  • Proficiency in Oce and G suite software.
  • Ability to undertake and monitor multiple tasks while working in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Telugu is required; English and Hindi proficiency preferred.

Good to Have Skills:

  • Understanding of Andhra Pradesh's political landscape.
  • Exposure to working in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
