Corporate Credit Analyst Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Credit Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our credit analysis function, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients and undertaking detailed due diligence of borrowers/industry.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze the financial health of our corporate clients and make informed recommendations on loan renewals and limit increases. You will also work closely with our Relationship Managers, Product teams, and Credit Officers/Approvers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers/industry.
  • Perform forward-looking fundamental credit analysis on borrowers, annual reviews, and limit renewals.
  • Support Relationship Managers/Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank (or their Global Capability Centre), asset manager, or rating agency environment.
  • Strong motivation to move into a more transaction-driven environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA/CFA/MBA Finance or their equivalents).
Functional/Technical Competencies

You will need to possess:

  • Experience of covering large corporates.
  • A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg/CapIQ and similar systems.
