We're seeking a skilled Cloud Development Leader to join our team at SAP. This role will be based in the United States, Brazil, Germany, Ireland, or India, and requires relocation.

Job Summary

This is a Senior Cloud Developer position that involves working on the entire lifecycle of development projects, from analysis and specification to design, implementation, maintenance, and operation of customer-specific solutions.

As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will work with a team of highly technical developers to design and implement cloud-based solutions using BTP, Java, Node.js, and other technologies. You will also lead and own topics by collaborating with Architects to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, emphasizing security, scalability, testability, and maintainability.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will coach team members to become proficient in development and quality processes, contributing significantly to the technical solutions.

What You'll Do
  1. Work with a team of highly technical developers to design and implement cloud-based solutions using BTP, Java, Node.js, and other technologies.
  2. Lead and own topics by collaborating with Architects to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, emphasizing security, scalability, testability, and maintainability.
  3. Coach team members to become proficient in development and quality processes, contributing significantly to the technical solutions.
  4. Possess a DevOps mindset, including ownership of topics from development through to deployment in production.
  5. Drive innovation and continuous improvement mindset in the people and showcase innovation in deliverables.
  6. Trouble shoot critical production issues.
  7. Adhere to agile engineering practices and processes followed by the team.
Requirements
  1. 8-14 years of relevant experience in software development in skills listed below.
  2. Strong programming background of/Experience in BTP, JAVA, Node.js.
  3. Good understanding of cloud native architecture & development.
  4. Hands-on experience in cloud-based development using BTP, Cloud Foundry, AWS or Azure.
  5. Good Experience in REST API creation and consumption.
  6. Profound knowledge of Git, UI5/JavaScript, DevOps.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and innovative mind set.
  8. Excellent communication in English.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
