Job Opportunity

We are seeking an expert in full-custom memory design and architectures, characterization, layout design, net-lister creation, and comprehensive SRAM design verification at the compiler level.

The ideal candidate will possess good knowledge of different types of memory architecture, proficiency in various physical verification flow debug tools, and experience with Cadence Virtuoso layout editor and Caliber Physical Verification flow.

A strong understanding and working knowledge of good layout practices in lower process nodes like 7nm and 5nm, as well as expertise in working on FinFET architecture and challenges such as variability and manufacturability, is required.

The role requires creating detailed and optimized physical layouts for memory cells, arrays, and peripheral circuits using tools like Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and verifying custom memory architectures
  • Creating optimized physical layouts for memory cells and arrays
  • Developing and implementing layout design methodologies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate memory designs into larger systems

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in full-custom memory design and architectures
  • Expertise in SRAM design verification at the compiler level
  • Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso layout editor and Caliber Physical Verification flow
  • Strong understanding of good layout practices in lower process nodes
  • Experience with Synopsys Custom Compiler is a significant plus
