About the Job
  • We are seeking a SOC analyst to join our team.

As a SOC analyst, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Validating and analyzing security incidents to identify potential threats.
  2. Providing recommendations to mitigate these threats and prevent future occurrences.
  3. Escalating complex issues to senior analysts or management for further resolution.
  4. Maintaining knowledge bases and tool administration to ensure optimal system performance.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  1. Perform routine vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  2. Develop and implement rules and dashboards in the SIEM platform to improve incident detection and response.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and best practices.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in security concepts, including threat vectors, risk management, and incident management.
  • Experience working in a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
  • Knowledge of security tools, including SIEM, SSL, packet analysis, and network monitoring.
