Overview of the Role:
We are looking for an accomplished Project Manager with extensive experience in leading and managing large-scale solar power projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects, ensuring complete ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery while adhering to safety, quality, budget, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project execution plans aligned with organizational objectives and schedules.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee end-to-end execution of solar projects from initiation to commissioning, ensuring strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.
- Monitor daily site progress, coordinate with site engineers and contractors, and implement corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.
Engineering & Technical Oversight:
- Review and validate engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering and site teams to ensure smooth integration of solar systems with grid / BESS.
Stakeholder & Team Management:
- Lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, government bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
Quality, Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and EHS standards at site, conducting quality audits and inspections at various stages of the project.
- Implement ISO and industry best practices in project execution to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy or equivalent.
- 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC / Utility / C&I projects, with a proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
