Job Title: Power Business Intelligence Specialist

Job Description:

The role of a Power Business Intelligence Specialist involves creating and implementing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This includes designing and developing interactive dashboards, performing data analysis, and providing insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights using Power BI.
  • Create sophisticated DAX expressions for data manipulation and calculations.
  • Develop interactive data visualizations to present data effectively.
  • Perform semantic data modeling and dimensional modeling.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
  • Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Gather and document business requirements.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Ask probing questions to understand and clarify business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience with data modeling and dimensional modeling.
  • Ability to create complex DAX expressions.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
