Accounting Specialist Position

About the Role
  • Perform timely identification and documentation of accounting issues, collaborating with senior or assistant managers as needed.
  • Contribute to various auditing projects.
  • Review work products and performance.
  • Maintain multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Develop strong relationships with US-based audit leads.
  • Ensure accurate reports are sent to clients within scheduled timeframes.
  • Drive quality project deliverables.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance skills of peers and self.
  • Bolster internal auditing systems and ensure their effective application.
  • Verify company financial information.
  • Prepare thorough audit reports and statements for review.
  • Respond to client audit queries knowledgeably and promptly.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce, or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant experience. CA/CPA certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Develop organizational skills to provide high-quality client reports within tight deadlines.
  • Promote a proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Show expertise in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess a combination of problem-solving and innovation skills to address technical challenges.
