
Gold Loan Business Development

The role entails generating gold loan business through various channels. This includes administering and training a team of Direct Selling Teams to expand gold loan business in the locality branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet monthly sales targets by acquiring new-to-bank (NTB) and existing-to-bank (ETB) customers.
- Pitch existing liability customers for gold loans and ensure month-on-month growth in end-of-period (EOP) execution only platform assets.
- Manage fee income as a minimum 1% of total disbursals, customer follow-ups, and timely renewal of cases to ensure minimum pending cases.
- Coordinate with valuators on a time-to-time basis and ensure most customers align to pay valuation charges as per product norms.
- Ensure healthy collections with nil first equated monthly instalment and minimize fresh flow in Bucket X, PSL (Priority Sector Lending).
- Tag and be aware of PSL norms, assist the branch liability team in audits, and communicate properly to customers before any packet opening.
- Conduct marketing activities in the local market to generate NTB gold loan customers.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and demanding situations.
Personal Qualifications:
- Graduation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Management, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Post-graduation: MBA preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in retail banking, preferably with exposure to lending products.
