Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive data quality, validation, and automation excellence. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data pipelines, analytics platforms, and reporting systems.

This position involves automating testing for data pipelines and ETL workflows in Snowflake using C#, validating data models, transformations, and aggregations for accuracy, building reconciliation tests between source systems and Snowflake, testing and verifying dashboards, reports, and analytics in ThoughtSpot, ensuring metrics and KPIs in BI tools align with data definitions, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks in C#, integrating into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating across teams to define strategies, plan sprints, and track data quality metrics.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Candidate must have 5+ years of experience in Testing.
  • Experience as an SDET / Test Engineer with hands-on automation using C#, Playwright, and MSTest.
  • Practical experience with Snowflake (SQL queries, stored procedures, schema validation).
  • Exposure to ThoughtSpot or similar BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for report validation and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) for UI automation and controller-based design for API testing.
  • Experience embedding test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
  • Comfortable with test reporting, analyzing data quality metrics, and driving data-informed QA improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working in collaborative Agile teams.
