Project Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact documentary film project focused on India's space science and technology advancements. As a key member of the production team, you will be involved in script development, research, and creative coordination throughout the project cycle.

Job Description

  • Assist the Director in managing daily project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Support in crafting English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures that bring the story to life.
  • Conduct thorough research on space-related topics, including history and initiatives, to ensure accuracy and authenticity in the final product.
  • Collaborate with the production team to schedule shoots, create shot lists, and coordinate logistics.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, maintaining cultural relevance and clarity.
  • Provide creative input for visual storytelling, graphics, and storyboarding to enhance the overall cinematic experience.
  • Evaluate and refine the script to align with the visual approach, ensuring a cohesive narrative.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Film school student or recent graduate with a strong interest in scientific filmmaking.
  • Excellent command of English writing skills, particularly in scriptwriting, narrative development, and research synthesis.
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking, government films, or educational content is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and adapt to changing production requirements.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and effective collaboration are essential qualities for this role.
