Data Engineer Position

About the Role:

The primary goal of a Data Engineer is to design, implement and maintain an efficient data architecture. A skilled candidate will possess experience in data management, system integration and technical configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop data mapping specifications and transformation rules effectively
  • Performing data cleansing, validation and reconciliation activities with accuracy
  • Create and execute data conversion scripts and processes efficiently
  • Document data models, mappings and migration procedures thoroughly

System Integration:

  • Configure integrations between Workday and third-party applications successfully
  • Develop integration specifications and technical designs carefully
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and implement effective solutions
  • Monitor integration performance and optimize accordingly

Technical Configuration & Development:

  • Design and implement Snowflake data models optimized for HR analytics efficiently
  • Create and maintain Snowflake objects (tables, views, stored procedures) regularly
  • Develop SQL transformations within Snowflake for reporting requirements accurately
  • Configure Workday modules according to design specifications precisely

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Develop reporting solutions using Snowflake as the data source effectively
  • Create data visualization dashboards connected to Snowflake successfully
  • Build self-service reporting capabilities for HR and business users efficiently

Required Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS implementation, data management or system integration
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday/Greenhouse data conversion, integration or reporting
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms
