As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and architecting BMS hardware systems for energy storage domains.

This role involves incorporating state-of-the-art concepts, layout, and compliance with EMI-EMC regulations to deliver high-quality modules/systems on-time.

To succeed in this position, you will need to interact with customers and cross-functional teams to provide solutions to complex use cases.

You should have a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a BE/BTech/MTech degree.

A minimum of 12-14 years of relevant experience is required, along with demonstrated expertise in developing BMS for energy storage/ESS.

In addition to technical skills, you should possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

The following are the key requirements and qualifications for this role:

  • Demonstrated experience developing BMS for energy storage/ESS
  • Rich hands-on experience in architecting Power Electronics concepts for BMS
  • Experience and strong design knowledge of Digital circuit design, Analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, Micro-processors, Micro-controllers & DSPs, etc.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries for Energy storage application such as UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC 60730, etc
  • Knowledge of PCB layout constraints
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience using simulation tools (for example P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad)
  • Experience with FMEA and Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience working with various Sensing Technologies (ex: Temp Sensor, Voltage sensor, etc.)
  • Experience working with hardware peripherals and communication ckt design .
  • Experience in Power Supply Design
  • Experience working with MOSFET driving,

  • Knowledge of Safety Regulatory standards like IEC61508, ISO26262 when building HW designs)
  • Contactors and Relays
  • Working knowledge of safety-critical features like charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics for battery and energy products
