Business Intelligence Analyst

The primary function of a Business Intelligence Analyst is to analyze complex data from various sources and develop actionable insights that drive business strategy. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau. Analyze sales trends, market performance, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by collaborating with IT and data engineering teams. Manage large datasets from internal and external sources, including CRM systems, market intelligence platforms, and supply chain databases.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, R&D, and operations to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Market and Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to provide actionable intelligence.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, and advanced Excel skills).
  • Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities; experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including knowledge of pharma market data sources such as IQVIA, IMS Health, or Symphony Health is a must.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing business challenges.
