Cloud Security Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and configuring cloud infrastructure, including AWS services such as VPC, TGW, VPN, security groups, and networking access.

As a Cloud Security Expert, you will have the opportunity to strengthen Kubernetes clusters with best practices around RBAC, secrets management, runtime security, and policy-as-code.

You will also implement and manage AWS security tools – IAM, SecurityHub, GuardDuty, Config, KMS, and Control Tower guardrails.

The Role:
  • Design and Configure Cloud Infrastructure: Design, configure, and secure cloud infrastructure, including AWS services like VPC, TGW, VPN, security groups, and networking access.
  • Strengthen Kubernetes Clusters: Strengthen Kubernetes clusters with best practices around RBAC, secrets management, runtime security, and policy-as-code.
  • Implement and Manage Security Tools: Implement and manage AWS security tools – IAM, SecurityHub, GuardDuty, Config, KMS, and Control Tower guardrails.
  • Security Harden and Maintain Firewalls: Security Harden and maintain next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and their integration into our cloud workloads, setup security observability.
  • Integrate Security Scanning: Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines (Trivy, SonarQube, Codecov, Inspector) to enforce quality gates.
  • Setup CSPM and SIEM Platforms: Set up and tune Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, and deploy Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions for active threat detection and mitigation.
  • Build Secure Automation Workflows: Build secure automation workflows using Linux fundamentals, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for repeatable, auditable infrastructure.

What We Need:

  • 4–7 Years of Experience: 4–7 years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong Knowledge of AWS Core Services: Strong working knowledge of AWS core and security services.
  • Experience Managing Kubernetes Workloads: Experience managing and securing Kubernetes workloads, with focus on RBAC, secrets, and runtime security.
  • Solid Understanding of Cloud Networking and Security Fundamentals: Solid understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals.
  • Practical Knowledge of CSPM, SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF Solutions, and Firewall Appliances: Practical knowledge of CSPM, SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF solutions, and firewall appliances.
  • Familiarity with Code Quality and Security Scanning Tools: Familiarity with code quality and security scanning tools.
  • Strong Fundamentals in Linux/Unix, Scripting, and Cloud Automation: Strong fundamentals in Linux/Unix, scripting, and cloud automation.
