Our organization is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a UX/UI design intern.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating seamless and impactful digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and be able to effectively communicate their ideas to cross-functional teams.

The role involves working closely with experienced designers, product managers, and engineers to support the design and development of features across web and mobile platforms. You will assist in designing high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes, support the UX design process, and prepare and deliver design documentation and presentations for internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems is a plus. They will also have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS, UX writing, or animation tools. We are looking for someone with a strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and execution, and an interest in fintech or financial products.

As a UX/UI design intern, you will contribute to digital experiences used by over 1 million users and participate in designing over 50 investment journeys across various financial products. You will have real-world exposure to solving UX challenges like user adoption, conversion, and retention, and have the opportunity to work with senior designers and product leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications
  • Support the UX design process including research, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Prepare and deliver design documentation and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with developers and senior designers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
  • Contribute to visual design and micro-interaction elements to enhance user experience
  • Stay updated with design trends, tools, and systems to inform innovative design solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Figma; experience with design systems is a plus
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Portfolio demonstrating design thinking and execution (academic or personal projects acceptable)
