Job Summary:

Storage Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Storage Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Storage Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of production systems and services.

Your primary objective will be to support the operations and manage the delivery of production systems and services, ensuring that they meet operational requirements and service agreements.

This role involves collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and delivery. You will contribute to process improvements and help enhance overall system performance and reliability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in storage operations, collaborate, and manage the team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Take responsibility for team decisions, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions impacting operational performance.
  • Evaluate and resolve operational issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance overall system performance and reliability.
  • Manage the delivery of production systems in accordance with operational requirements and service agreements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Nasuni, NetAPP, Isilon, and AWS/Azure Native Storage.
  • Strong experience with system administration and troubleshooting of production systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with customers at various organizational levels.
  • Able to operate independently and make decisions with minimal direct supervision.
  • Presentation skills in MS PowerPoint for presenting data and operational insights.
