Air Charter Service is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Aircraft Charter Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our sales department, you will be responsible for building relationships with Cargo Operators and customers to ensure access to the widest range of aircraft available.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales or airfreight, with excellent commercial judgement and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
About You
- You will have at least two years' experience in sales or airfreight, with a proven track record of meeting targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You will thrive in a competitive working environment and be results-driven, with a focus on achieving your goals and exceeding expectations.
The Role
- You will be responsible for proactively targeting potential customers through outbound sales calls, emails, and visits, converting them into ACS customers.
- Maintaining relationships with Cargo Operators and customers to ensure repeat business and driving revenue growth.
- Managing charter bookings from enquiry to completion, including presenting bespoke quotes to customers and demonstrating good commercial acumen.
- Flight watching/overseeing flight departures, often during unsociable hours.
What We Offer
- A generous base salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission on every charter flight, providing unlimited earning potential.
- 22 days' holiday per year, increasing with length of service.
