About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with expertise in Python, Java, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python/Java.
  • Automate functional, regression, API, and integration test cases.
  • Perform REST/SOAP Web API testing using tools like Postman or Python requests libraries.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
  • Ensure testing is aligned with Agile principles and shift-left testing strategies.
  • Conduct performance, compatibility, and reliability testing where applicable.
  • Write and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts for coverage and traceability.
  • Support testing by automating infrastructure validation and monitoring pipelines.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement discussions.

Required Skills

  • Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python and working knowledge of Java.
  • Automation: Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
  • Web API Testing: Experience with RESTful APIs, using Postman or Python libraries.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab experience is essential.
  • Database Testing: Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Agile Practices: Experience in Agile environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
