We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy large-scale big data systems using Spark with Scala, Azure Databricks, and ADLS. You will also work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines and analytics services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines using Spark with Scala and Azure Databricks.
  • Design and implement scalable data warehouses using ADLS and ADF.
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate data analytics services into our software applications.
  • Analyze log data using Azure SQL and provide insights for business improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in big data technologies, including Spark with Scala, Azure Databricks, and ADLS.
  • Experience with data analysis using Azure SQL and ADF.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source-controlled environments like GitLab/GitHub.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Micorsoft SQL Server BI stack (SSAS/SSIS) experience.
  • Data warehousing knowledge with designing Star schema/Snowflaking.
