Job Description
The Software Development Manager will be responsible for setting the multi-year engineering and product vision for the program, building a large and growing team, and solving some of the company's hardest technical challenges. This will involve partnering with product or program management teams to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective, and will possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Set the multi-year engineering and product vision for the program
* Build a large and growing team of Software Engineers
* Solve some of the company's hardest technical challenges
* Partner with product or program management teams to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
* Manage teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective

Requirements
* 7 years of engineering experience
* 3 years of engineering team management experience
* 8 years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience
* Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software, hardware, networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations
