We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our QA team at mthree. As a Senior SDET, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, ensuring robust software quality, and driving continuous improvements in our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Development:

    Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright, Protractor, and other tools to ensure seamless integration of automation tests in CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins.

  • Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack to identify and fix issues early in the development cycle.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure robust unit testing and integration testing practices, resulting in fewer defects and improved software reliability.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to identify potential testing requirements early and provide valuable insights to the team.
  • Partner with product owners, developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle, from development to deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews to improve test coverage and software quality, and share knowledge with the team.

Tool and Framework Enhancement:

  • Contribute to the enhancement of existing test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and maintainability, reducing the time spent on testing and improving overall productivity.
  • Recommend and implement industry best practices in test automation to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Playwright: Hands-on experience in building and managing UI test automation frameworks to automate complex user interfaces.
  • Jenkins: Proven ability to set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment workflows.
  • Protractor: Solid experience in writing and executing automated test cases to ensure fast and accurate testing.
  • BrowserStack: Expertise in cross-browser testing and troubleshooting to ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Gatling & Blazemeter: Knowledge of performance and load testing tools to simulate real-world traffic and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Selenium: Familiarity with automation testing using Selenium WebDriver to interact with web applications.
  • Scripting: Experience in scripting in Angular to write efficient and scalable test automation code.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field to demonstrate a strong foundation in computer science principles and software development.
  • 4+ years of experience in test automation, quality assurance, and software testing to have a deep understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies to collaborate effectively with the development team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas effectively.

Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, to reflect the value of your skills and expertise.
