Job Details

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective execution of electrical projects. As an Electrical Draftsman, you will be responsible for interpreting wiring drawings, developing shop drawings, and collaborating with engineers to deliver high-quality results that meet customer expectations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Creating detailed panel integration drawings and shop drawings, as well as wiring connections.
  • Performing calculations to determine actual material requirements based on the latest approved shop drawings.
  • Preparing and sharing work status reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Identifying potential design issues and communicating them to the Line Manager for timely resolution.
  • Collaborating with engineers to incorporate suggestions into drawings, ensuring smooth and outstanding quality panel integrations.
  • Ensuring final designs comply with building regulations.
  • Maintaining adherence to standard company engineering procedures and agreed customer variations.
  • Fostering positive communication and relationships with team members, management, vendors, and clients.
  • Delivering work within assigned deadlines.
Requirements
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar field is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of control panels and wiring diagrams is essential.
  • Proficiency in Eplan, Propanel, P8 Software, Autodesk & AutoCAD is necessary.
  • A minimum Diploma Degree in a relevant field, preferably with an electrical background.
