This is a full-time, remote role for a Software Integration Engineer. The Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for integrating software systems, developing software solutions, troubleshooting issues, implementing continuous integration processes, and working with embedded software.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in backend web development
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with NestJS or similar backend frameworks
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming and its various paradigms
  • Strong understanding of automated testing at every level (unit, integration and end-to-end)

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining integrations with various Property Management Systems (PMS) and third-party platforms
  • Developing and optimizing our integration pipeline, ensuring reliability and efficiency
  • Understanding the nuances of downstream systems and architecting scalable integration solutions
  • Engaging with PMS partners to identify and implement new features and updates
  • Troubleshooting and resolving integration-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance
  • Continuously improving our backend infrastructure, automating tasks, and setting best practices for integrations

Requirements:

  • Experience in backend web development
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with NestJS or similar backend frameworks
  • Familiarity with databases and ORM frameworks for efficient data management
  • Proficiency with Git and development tools such as Visual Studio Code
