Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cost Accountant, responsible for establishing robust costing systems, project margin tracking, and financial reporting frameworks across our diverse business verticals.

  • Build and maintain job-wise and vertical-wise cost sheets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
  • Track material, labor, transport, and overheads per project, identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Allocate shared costs across business verticals, taking into account their respective requirements.
  • Create standard cost templates and monitor budget vs. actual, providing timely insights for informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to validate cost data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Support the implementation of ERP systems for costing modules, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
Requirements
  • A recognized certification in Cost & Management Accounting (CMA) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the infrastructure, construction, or rental sectors.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Tally Prime, is an advantage.
Essential Skills
  • Strong grasp of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Proven track record of working in project-based or rental-driven businesses, with expertise in cost management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and cost reporting, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Understanding of logistics, inventory, and shared cost allocation, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a business context.
  • Hands-on, self-motivated individual with a systems-building mindset, able to drive change and improvement initiatives.
