We are seeking an experienced senior tester to ensure the highest quality of our applications. The successful candidate will be a key member of our quality assurance team, working closely with development teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.

Senior Tester

The role involves:

  • Developing test strategies and creating detailed test plans and test cases tailored to Service Now applications.
  • Conducting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identifying, documenting, and managing defects using appropriate tracking tools.
  • Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Performing root cause analysis of defects and collaborating with development teams for resolution.
  • Implementing automated test cases using suitable tools and frameworks.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in software testing, with a focus on Service Now applications.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Familiarity with test management tools.
